Everyone knows vampires are born vampires. But few know that vampeals are born human until the age of puberty. When vampires reach this age, they do require more blood daily and their strength does increase. They obtain the use of their dark gift as well. Born vampires continue to age until they reach their physical peak or prime. which is about age twenty five. After that they no longer physically age.
Vampeals first need blood at puberty. Their bodies change so much that they often lash out to get their first meal as well. Usually not knowing that the hunger they feel is not for food, they sadly attack whoever is near them, friends, or family/loved ones. Vampeals as vampires also obtain their dark gift at puberty.
