Vampires never hiss and bare fangs when they see or smell blood. That's just stupid. A vampire has represents supreme control in it's basic sense. Vampires do not react to the presence of blood, they are simply aware of it. Like the smell of a warm meal cooking by the fire, a vampire's nose detects the flavor of the dish. Vampires never bare teeth at the sight of blood. One might smile at the view, but that's preference, not reaction.
