Over 30,000 is much better than Over 9,000!!!

Demon Vampire has reached over 30,000+ views! Join me in celebrating another mile stone for this website. As the word spreads and as the book becomes viral, that number will climb. Just a year ago I had the foresight to keep an eye on a certain un-named author that despite her lack of fans at the time was creating a strong following with her constantly determined efforts. One year later and she has sold over two million copies of her books worldwide in print and ebook (mostly ebook) for only a few dollars a piece. I decided to follow that paradigm set before me and set my ebook at the price of $3.00, making it a 500 page novel for less than the cost of an iced coffee. If you have a smartphone, a tablet, netbook, laptop, desktop, or especially a kindle, your ability to buy this book is the quickest and easiest thing ever. The kindle app can be installed on all of those devices for free!

When 10/30/2011 comes, it's time to set a record. It's time this book over sells it's foundation and reaches the epic status it deserves. On the release day, tell your friends, your family, your brother, your sister, and your mother - anyone that even remotely likes vampires. They will want to read this book. And for the price, you can afford to buy it for them as a gift. Hand them three dollars and order it on their smartphone for them (with their permission of course) and give them the story they will remember. And for once, they will be able to say they read the book BEFORE the movie came out.

Vampires Are Only Vampires When They Are Respected By Other Vampires

There was a time when vampires were respected by other vampires. It was some decades ago, but it did exist. The vampires of today have let themselves weaken to the level of those publicized movie vampires. There has been talk of vampires that hiss, that growl, and sparkle. Pointless posturing that leads to pathetic bravadoes of power and speed. Vampires are elegant and terrifying. They do not need to do such simple things to threaten. Their very existence is a threat to others. They are predators, the rest of us are not. They show the restraint needed to coexist in the dark circles they operate in.
With a true vampire, there is control. There is a level to which no one will ever understand. To immerse themselves among people, among food, and refrain from eating is a display of will in itself. To still a hand in front of a loudmouth that doesn't know any better is a testament to strength and nobility. The vampire I keep close to my heart never tells someone they are going to die. They merely kill them. There is a directness that has been lost in today's vampire.
In the era of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, there was a sense of honor, of elegance in action. A power that knew nearly no bounds under the dark night's sky. It is that reverence I aim to resurrect. There are moments one recalls when they cherish something. Thoughts, sensations of smell, touch, a serenity that is equaled by few things. To stand before a vampire and know, not wonder, that you are alive because they have chosen to keep you so. To read a line, to let the words lift off the page as you mind dazzles to the world that has been crafted for you alone. There is a magnificence in that which no other can feel or know. It is unique and personal to each.
Vampires need to have their time of respect again. If another vampire cannot honor the domains of even a fictional vampire, we have been lost and need to be found. Thankfully, these dark days are almost over. The nights of elegance, strength, and honest fear will be brought back. On Devil's Night 2011, Demon Vampire will be released. Ushering in a new season of true vampires.
Understand that once you enter, you will never wish to return. Bring all that you are with you. The door does not forgive tardiness or indecision. Your thoughts will be tested, your morality will be confronted. Demon Vampire is not for those hoping to find another vampire story that is entertaining. It is for those that aim to understand the woes of what it means to break in to a knowledge that few will ever experience in this life. From the second it is opened, your perception will be altered and the door will be closed.

A Comment About A Book On Real Vampires

I wonder if the book makes the distinction between Sanguinary Vampires and Psychic Vampires. Being that I have met both. The experiences are very difference.
A blood drinking vampire has a healthy glow to them, as do most people that consume animal blood on a constant basis. I have seen feats of strength from seemingly frail men, and amazing balance from them. As to the obvious question of longevity, it is taboo to ask. So I never do. Accelerated healing is fascinating to see, but it happens much slower in real life than in most novels, including mine. The idea of a wound instantly healing over is fictional. It usually takes pressing the injury shut, then concentrating to seal it. After that comes a good one to two hours. Then, finally, the wound is mostly healed, even from the outside. The cut is gone, the blood reabsorbed. It is quite an honor to see it happen.
A psychic vampire is special. In my opinion, they can be quite fun too. simply standing next to one on a "good" or "positive" day is astounding. They can do many things, such as give you the sensation of touch without touching, or even cause you to have an honestly great, or as some would say, "lucky" day.
On the topic of morality, many cultures around the world drink blood to help sustain their life. It's only here that we entertain the idea of drinking human blood. Not to say there is any wrong with it if done with a willing partner and in moderation. Safety is always key in this area.
All said, I like the idea of this book and will be buying it as soon as I finish a little work on my own.

Silver Is A Human's Best Friend. Know When To Wear It And When You're Just Being Rude.

A vampire doesn't like silver because it causes a rash, irritations, and slows the regenerating process. It does not kill them, but it is a ward. As a human, I wear silver. Small charms, trinkets, objects, they all have a clear purpose - They show that I am not a vampire. It is a good distinction to display. However, if one were to be in the presence of a real vampire, it is just plain rude. Silver is a symbol of offense to vampires if worn by a human. It is important to know when and where to wear silver. When I go to events of the general public, I obviously wear it. When I go to a private location, I never do.
However, there is one thing I am never without. A silver pen. Personal prefference is to just not take it out.

Just a little. I Promise It Won't Hurt... Much.

Has your friend been staring at your neck lately? Have they been watching the way you walk down the hall? Paying a little too much attention to your skin?
Having a vampire as a room-mate can be a dangerous ordeal if they're not upfront about it. If you suspect your friend is a vampire, be honest about your feelings. Tell them you don't like the idea of being their late night meal. And if you enjoy the thought, let them know as well. It could start a new level of your friendship. However, don't offend. Some people don't want to expose the fact they are vampires, or blood drinking for that matter. If they say 'no' and you still think they are, don't push it. Be respectful.

Vampires And Tattoos. Why It Is Important To Choose Carefully.

Vampires do get inked. Don't misunderstand. They just do it for different reasons than the rest of us. One might get a tattoo for the design, the message, or the placement. A vampire gets a tattoo to show they've earned something, to remember someone, or to display status. A human often dies in less than a century, a vampire does not. The actual look, position, and reasons for a tattoo to a vampire have to be well thought out. Some vampire might choose not to ever get a tattoo at all, whiles others cover their bodies showing that they have no regrets. It is a deeply personal choice for humans and vampires. All that matters is living with it.

The Myth Of Vampires And Coffins. They Don't Need Them.

There has been a long standing myth that vampires rest in a coffin during the day. This is not true. Coffins are a tool of an era long past. They are no longer needed. In the older times, coffins were used as a distraction to deter people from finding them. 'Why check a dead body?' was the phrase. Now people know that nifty trick. Now coffins have made way to triple locked titanium bank vaults purchased for easy havens.

Are Vampires Real? Find Out If They Are Among Us.

Are vampires real? Do they bite necks, drink blood, and live forever? Yes and no. There is a difference between Hollywood vampires and real vampires.
Fiction vampires have abilities such as fast healing, telepathy, telekinesis, pyrotechnics, and many others. they are said to be immortal. that they drink only blood. As well as violently bite people until they die. Many authors, including myself, have argued over the details of what it means to be a vampire. However, the real version of vampires is not so debated.
Real vampires don't need to drink blood. Some do, some don't. Blood can replenish the health of a true vampire. However, the consumption of energy is more widely used as a medium to feed. Blood is a special perk of a stable relationship that two or more people share. It is not an act of carnage. It is an act of trust, willingly given to a companion. Most real vampires do have abilities. Telepathy is common at varying levels. Seeing the near future is an especially useful gift. Telekinesis is a rare talent, but it does exist. The same goes for pyrotechnics. When it comes to living forever, this depends on perspective. Living through a gunshot wound to the chest has been known to happen, but to the head is another story. Longevity is one of a vampires gifts, rest assured, they live youthful lives. However real modern vampires simply put, are not the same as fictional vampires.
With that said. I have not had the pleasure of meeting an elder vampire. I cannot say that they exist or not. it is not my place to add to the myths or to dismiss them. I only want it to be known that I do not want to anger one, let alone a group. In that regard, I write of fictional vampires. It is my hope that through my writing, one day more knowledge will be bestowed upon me through another. But i can honestly say that when that happens, you will never know. Those meetings are to be remembered only, not recounted for all to read.
Are vampires real? When someone can make you faint without touching them from thirty feet away. When a person can cause sickness at a distance. When a dark figure tells you to hold still without words from across a crowded room. There is a chance you have see a vampire and they have seen you.
As far as admitted vampires, there are some. Don Henrie, Seregon O'Dalley, and Joaquin Latina to name a few. There stories can be found on the web.
