What Is Your Blood Flavor?

In Demon Vampire, those who drink blood taste it differently than humans. A Night At Tears Of Crimson By Michelle Hughes

A Night at Tears of Crimson is a book for those wanting to experience the life of a character and each dream they once held.

The book is written by Michelle Hughes. It has a welcome style that invites you in from page one. The characters are well assembled and the main protagonist is seated well in reality from the beginning. Without giving anything away of the events, A Night at Tears of Crimson is a well balanced read that flows well and reads better. If you have ever enjoyed people that have history in their lives, or the city of New Orleans in general, this book is for you.

The Ebethusa By Solomon Strange

Delightfully written with a haunting touch.

Solomon Strange hits this nearly unknown genre hard with his first novel The Ebethusa. It mixes Science with Spirits, delving into the aspect of the ghost in the machine that we all secretly fear.

The Ebethusa is a well balanced, beautifully written piece that not only ensnares you from page one, it does so from the prologue. The story is crafted in a somber tone, giving where it needs and restrictive when prompted. It keeps the reader on their toes and never lets up. Each chapter is a way of reconnecting with the scene. Solomon Strange does a remarkable job of painting each area while laying out the dialogue of the moment.

Visitor Stats, Others Are Rising

This week's Statistics has me at a loss. I've never had so many visitors from Germany, The United Kingdom, and Russia all on my site. I must say, it's encouraging. And of course, The United States is leading the group stats. (However, The UK is catching up, and fast.)

Lately there have been some needed changes to the facebook fanpage of Demon Vampire. It looks like it's paying off and making a difference. I will be increasing the amount of content I put out each week as a result of the new traffic. Think of it as a reward to those loyal to the site.

Up And Coming About Demon Vampire

There has been a few things in development lately. Four more video book reviews, a possible interview with a known vampire, and a little secret I am keeping quiet about until it's actually completed.

By now, you all have seen the first video book review of Demon Vampire.

Soon, there will be a video book review of Demon Vampire: Special Science Report 1192 (SSR 1192). As well as three additional video book reviews of Demon Vampire by three other youtube reviewers.

I am in talks with several public vampires to conduct an interview of what they think about the current mediocrity of the social trend of non-goth readers into the softer vampire slush that has been released in the last decade. Depending on who takes accepts the interview, the results should be entertaining.

I am in the beginning stages of appearing on an internet show. Yes, this means you will be able to finally hear my voice and see the mannerisms to which I am sure you have all thought about in reading my verbose blogging. As well as another book giveaway to be done on that show. As to which show and what time, everything is working itself out quite well for now and I will keep you all posted.

The Demolition Of Google Friend Connect Newsletter

Google Friend Connect is being removed from Demon Vampire.

The notice was already sent to all Google Friend Connect members of the Newsletter that it will be removed from the site this morning. It is due in part to the divergence of words I have to dedicate to each venue since writing the newsletter is separate from the main blog.

I have given them all the chance to still be a part of the blog giveaway of course.

By cutting this portion of the site, I will be able to bring the mystery prizes that I have been keeping close to me into the site. There will be at least two other author books given away on the site and even a gothic CD in late March to early April.

For now, just sign up to follow the blog.

I Will Have My Emolument. Demon Vampire Has A Release Date

     Demon Vampire will be released 10/30/2011

     Erudite Small Press will be publishing Demon Vampire as an eBook on the day before Halloween. On Devil's Night October 30th, Demon Vampire will be available for purchase on Kindle, Nook, and iBookstore.

     The details are still being released. For now, advance reviews are being collected, art is being finalized, and everything is coming together nicely.

     Links will be up as soon as I can get them.

     To any and all who would like a chance to scribe your thoughts on Demon Vampire the book, contact me. Email me at virgilallenmoore@live.com I will be compiling a list of email addresses to send advance e-copies of the book.

To be considered for a chance to review Demon Vampire, you must have all of the following.
     1. A valid email address.
     2. The ability to read at a fast pace. You will have one month to read and review the book.
     3. A valid Amazon.com account in order to post the review on their site.
     4. A valid Barnes&Noble.com account in order to post a review on their site.
     5. A valid itunes.com account for iBooks in order to post a review on their site.
     6. The ability to write a 500 - 1500 word review that is honest and complete.
   7. Have 10 friends that you can tell in person about the book.

This is a large novel. If you request to review the book Demon Vampire, you will need to read the novel, write the review, and post it on Amazon, Nook, and iBooks within one month from the date it is send to you.

The PDF of Demon Vampire will be your personal copy to keep. It should not be given or sold in any way.

The deadline for be considered for a chance to review the book is 8/31/2011 at midnight. Any requests sent after that time and date will be ignored. I will send a confirmation email to those who are chosen a week after the deadline. If your RSVP is not received by 9/21/2011, you will be removed from the list and your review will not be considered.

The ultimate goal of this review process is to have your review posted in the actual eBook itself.
